A STORY OF DESIGN
Founded in 2017 by one of Britain’s leading kitchen designers, Designer Kitchens & Interiors is a young, talented and passionate design practice specialising in residential kitchen design.
Design led by principle. We are on a mission to revolutionise our industry by carving our own path and questioning convention. We seek the best team members we can find and projects that allow us to expand our creative limits.
We are passionate about truly bespoke design work and we love to fuss over quality and execution. That’s why, after years of searching for the perfect partner to custom-build our creations, we became our own perfect partner and brought the manufacturing of our DK&I Bespoke Collection in-house.
We also realise that not every design brief requires truly bespoke cabinetry, that’s why we also utilise great quality German-made cabinetry for many of our projects. Creative and cost-effective.
We very much look forward to creating a design brief with you and breathing inspiration into your future.

It is a creatively inspirational place where we design, research and generally live and breathe the world of kitchen and interior design. We invite our clients to join us here in this perfect environment in which they can meet, chat, create, cook, dine and generally immerse themselves in their project. It results in the most enjoyable of experiences and the most impressive end results.

CREATIVE PROCESS
We are here to create the best possible design for you. We’ll discuss everything in relation to how you and your family live and intend to use the space. Your relationship with cookery, social preferences, aesthetics and materials are critical details, along with the structural elements to
the project such as budget, timescale and installation requirements.
To conclude this stage, you’ll receive a project proposal; a document which reflects our conversations to ensure we’ve properly understood your design brief.
This is the part we’re renowned for, our exceptional creative work! First on the agenda is to present you with our design concept for your project. We aim to be innovative and inspirational with every design and firmly believe you’ll be presented with an unrivalled proposal for your consideration and approval.
Having approved the design concept and commissioned the project, we’ll continue our journey onto the detailing phase. We consider design variations, detailed colour and material palettes and the all-important refinement of the budget.
One of the first tasks we typically undertake is the preparation of drawings that assist your architect with the submission of a building warrant application, or the issuing of contractor’s tender packs.
We conclude this phase with the sign-off of your final design and the placement of your ordering deposit, before passing the project onto our procurement phase. As a guide, a delivery and/or install date should be available between 8-16 weeks from this point.
With a final design agreed, we now focus our energy on technical procurement of your project.
Over the following 2-4 weeks we’ll survey the space, if applicable, before producing detailed manufacturing and installation drawings, and schedule the various aspects of your project.
By the conclusion of this phase, we’ll share with you a package of drawings and scheduling information for your records, before passing it over for in-house manufacturing.
Now the fun begins. There is nothing more satisfying than watching one of our creations come to life! All the hard work, scheduling and planning comes together here to allow our (or your own) install team to enjoy a clean execution. In the lead up to install day, we arrange a pre-fit inspection and handover meeting with our installers.
Quite simply, we promise to take care of you and your products. Naturally, your purchase is protected by guarantees, but aftercare is more than that. It’s an attitude borne from respect for our clients, and a culture that nourishes those all-important relationships.
Once your install is complete and signed off, we’ll pass your file onto our aftercare phase where we’ll assist you with the registration of your appliances, issue you with relevant kitchen care information, and inform you of our annual kitchen servicing offering, which will help to maximise
the lifespan of your installation.
